Tiny translations

Isn't it great to be able to have nearly free Greek translation? In this page, you are able to submit really tiny texts for translation. If you use this special procedure, you can save money and time, compared to the standard project quoting / assignment procedure. You can have small bits of text translated at a minimal cost, as low as 5 EUROS in total. You can have us translate just one word, virtually with no minimums.

Here is the process:

  • From the menu on the left, or from the bottom of this page, select the language combination you want your text translated in.
  • From the drop-down that appears, review the cost and select the amount of source words you want us to translate. If in doubt, count the text in Microsoft Word.
  • Hit the Pay Now button.
  • You will be transfered to PayPal's secure payment processing site. In the address bar of your browser, make sure the address starts with https://www.paypal.com.
  • If you have a PayPal account, enter your authentication information. Proceed with the payment as usual. Before submitting your payment, you will have an opportunity to enter the text you want us to translate while still in Paypal's site.
  • If you have no PayPal account, select the link Continue on the left, right after the Don't have a PayPal account? heading. Follow the instructions on PayPal's site to enter your personal and credit card details. Before finalising your payment, you will have an opportunity to enter the text you want us to translate while still in Paypal's site.
  • In case you did not fill in the text that you need translated, please send it to us by email, at info@glossa.com, mentioning the PayPal transaction ID.
  • In the same or next working day, you will receive a confirmation from us, including the estimated time of delivery.
  • In rare occasions, if we are unable to translate the original text, you will receive a PayPal refund and an explanation why we cannot translate the text. This may be for a number of reasons.
  • In up to two working days, you will receive the translated text in Word .doc format. If you are a new client, we will also request any additional details for issuing and sending you our invoice.

Please note:

  • Through this process, we do not accept projects of "glossary nature", i.e. lists of isolated words. The only exception is lists of similar entries, such us country names, days of the week, etc.
  • We reserve the right to reject any job submitted through this process.
  • The usual time needed to deliver translations this small is up to a few hours, but please allow two working days.
  • Through this procedure, we can translate texts between 1 and 500 words.
